BOARDING FACILITY

The goal of our professional staff at Paradise Pet Therapy and Boarding Facility is to provide a safe, comfortable and healthy environment for your pet. We want you to feel confident that your pet is receiving the highest quality care possible while entrusted to us. We encourage you to visit before boarding your pet so that we may answer all your questions and introduce you to our staff. You may stop by for a tour anytime after 11 am, no appointment necessary.

Indoor Dog Kennel: Our 45 state-of-the-art dog runs range in size to fit your pet's needs. A bench at the back of the run allows your pet to lie off the floor if desired. Run walls are covered in laminate for easy and efficient cleaning. All dogs are leash walked five times a day in our fenced-in exercise area. A separate room design to provide our geriatric and medical patient boarders with a quieter environment is located outside the main kennel. One wall of this room is made up entirely of windows so that we may monitor these pets at all times.

Cat Condos: Cat accommodations are located separately form the dog kennel. Condo-like cages with plexi-glass backs look out a large window with a view of the outdoors. Each unit has its own cat bed and litter box. When available, portholes can be opened between units to provide your cat with more room to move about. All cats are given an opportunity daily to exercise in the cat playroom adjacent to the main cat room.

Safety and Comfort: Our entire Boarding Facility is equipped with heating and air conditioning to provide year-round comfort for our boarders. Security and fire alarm systems help to ensure safety around the clock. We've also built in a speaker system to deliver soothing music to your pet during its stay with us.

Vaccinations: To prevent the spread of contagious diseases, owners must have written verification that their pets are properly vaccinated before boarding. Written verification that dogs are free of heartworms and intestinal parasites is also required.

Dogs are required to be current on the following:

  • Rabies Vaccine

  • Distemper (DHLPP) Vaccine, or titer

  • Bordetella (Canine Cough) Vaccine

  • Negative Heartworm Test within the past two years if on preventative

  • Negative Heartworm Test within the past year if not on preventative

  • Negative Fecal Exam within the past year

Cats are required to be current on the following:

  • Rabies Vaccine

  • Distemper (FVRCP) Vaccine, or titer
