Paradise Animal Hospital is seeking dedicated, highly motivated individuals to fill our current openings.

Veterinary Receptionist
The role of the receptionist is to provide highest quality service to our clients, perform clerical duties, and support the veterinary staff and the function of the hospital.  The receptionist position requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization and services; client and patient treatment protocols; common medical problems and emergencies; basic client education information; vaccine protocols; hospital terminology; computer and phone/intercom system; filling system; and word processing.

Veterinary Technician (Experience Required)
The responsibilities of the veterinary technician are to maintain quality patient care, assist doctors by relieving them of technical work and administrative detail, and educate and instruct clients as needed.  The veterinary technician position requires knowledge of hospital organization and services; procedures for receiving, assisting in treatment and discharging patients; use, care and storage of veterinary instruments and equipment; veterinary drug and vaccine protocols; client education information; hospital terminology; phone/intercom system; and filing system.

Veterinary Assistant/Handler
The main duty of the veterinary assistant/handler is to restrain patients for doctors and technicians during exams and procedures.  Other responsibilities include maintaining exam room order and cleanliness, walking and feeding patients, and providing assistance as needed.

Kennel Supervisor/Manager (Experience Required)
The kennel supervisor/manager is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the boarding kennel, including client service, animal care, and kennel staff supervision.  Comprehensive knowledge of the kennel protocols and policies, as well as computer, phone and filing systems is required.

Kennel Assistant
Kennel maintenance and animal care are the primary responsibilities of the kennel assistant.  Duties include cage/run cleaning, feeding, walking, bathing, and record keeping.  Knowledge of kennel policies and protocols, as well as basic animal care and handling, are necessary.
