Cheryl
Burke-Schwarz, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Burke, a Catonsville native, graduated from University of Maryland
Baltimore County in 1982 and received her DVM with honors from Ohio State
University in 1985. She opened Paradise
Animal Hospital on June 19, 1990. Her special interests
include internal medicine, geriatrics and canine rehabilitation.
She is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Dr. Burke and her husband, Will, are the proud parents of two boys, Nick
and Mack, two dogs and two cats.
Nancy
Auclair, DVM
Dr. Auclair is a 1979 graduate of Texas A&M University College of
Veterinary Medicine. Born in New Jersey, Dr Auclair practiced in
Texas, New Mexico and Massachusetts before moving to Maryland in
1992. She joined Paradise Animal Hospital
in August of 1994. Her special interests are internal medicine,
laboratory animal medicine and veterinary technician education. Dr. Auclair and her husband, Ralph, are kept very busy with their three boys,
two dogs and two cats.
Linda
Banish, DVM
Dr. Banish is a 1985 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of
Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Bethesda, MD, Dr. Banish taught
at the University of California, Davis for several years before returning
to Maryland. In February of 1998, she joined
Paradise Animal Hospital. Her interests include small
animal surgery and wildlife conservation. She enjoys motherhood, hiking, outdoor
sports, art. She is the proud mother of one daughter, Charlie, one
dog, Tess, and one cat, Kip.

Lisa Tinanoff, DVM
Dr. Lisa Tinanoff graduated from Cornell
University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She completed an
internship in small animal medicine and then spent two years practicing at
an emergency/critical care hospital before joining
Paradise Animal Hospital in August of 2005.
Her special interests include internal medicine and critical care.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Tinanoff enjoys playing cello in the
Hopkins Symphony Orchestra, running, traveling, and playing with her two
cats.

Daniel Wareham, DVM
Dr. Wareham, a native of Denver, CO, completed his
undergraduate degree at the University of MD and went on to graduate from
the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. He has
worked in small animal practice since 1995 as well as
emergency and critical care. In October of 2005, Dr. Wareham joined Paradise
Animal Hospital. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys
dabbling in community theater, AKC breed showing, dog agility, and tending
his koi pond. His menagerie consists of 3 Great Danes, a terrier mix, a
Miniature Schnauzer, 2 cats and a cockatiel.
Stephanie
Medcroft, DVM
Dr. Medcroft has a long history
with Paradise Animal Hospital. She
worked as a veterinary technician in 1992 while finishing her B.S. in
Psychology at UMBC. After graduating from the Virginia Maryland Regional
College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, Dr. Medcroft practiced small
animal medicine and surgery for two years in Georgia. Dr. Medcroft
returned to Maryland to practice emergency medicine and critical care at
the AVECC hospital in Annapolis MD and continued her relationship with
Paradise Animal Hospital working relief shifts as her time allowed.
Dr. Stephanie Medcroft returned to the staff of
Paradise Animal Hospital in October
2005. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, wound
management, emergency medicine, and critical care. Her other interests
include traveling, gardening, kayaking, hiking and camping. Her new
roles as wife and stepmother as well as her 2 dogs and 4 cats keep her
fulfilled and busy outside of veterinary medicine.
