Dr. Abby Woods grew up in Rye, New York in the suburbs of New York City. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Biological Science. She then returned to New York to receive her DVM from Cornell University. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery with an emphasis on emergency medicine at Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Annapolis. Dr. Woods' areas of interest include sports medicine, rehabilitation, nutrition and behavior. She is Fear Free certified and has a background in positive-reinforcement dog training.
In her free time, Dr. Woods loves exploring and going for hikes with her energetic and anxious dog Finley. She also enjoys reading and movie nights with friends.
