Dr. Jennifer King, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Jennifer King is a graduate of St. George's University. In 2011, she completed her training to become a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner. She joined Paradise Animal Hospital in 2017 to continue to pursue her love of rehabilitation medicine. Currently she is training to become a Working Dog Practitioner and works regularly with Baltimore County K-9 unit. She visited Colorado in 2019 to continue our working relationship with Orthopets. Pain management is another of her interests and treating pain is always the first step with our rehabilitation patients!
Dr. King is married with two young sons, Robert and Isaac. She has a cat name Lovely and a dog named Socks (a shepherd mix).

Emily Reese, CCFT
Emily Reese, CCFT is our lead rehab tech and has worked at Paradise Rehab for over 13 years. She is a CCFT (Certified Canine Fitness Trainer) , Fear Free Certified and certified in canine kinesiology taping . Emily has also traveled to Colorado to continue her working relationship with Orthopets and specializes in Canine/feline Orthotics. In her spare time, Emily enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her daughter and her four legged companions which include Roby the German shepherd, Spencer the cockapoo and Maddie the poodle mix . When asked what she enjoyed most about her job Emily said “I enjoy coming to work with a team who is dedicated to helping animals and working with clients to help maintain their four legged family member".
Emily DiNicolo, Rehab Tech
Emily DiNicolo has been working at Paradise Rehab for5 years and is our senior rehab tech. She is Fear Free Certified, has her canine physio tape certification and is currently studying to be a CMFT ( canine myo-manipulative functional therapist). Emily has also been to Colorado to continue her working relationship with Orthopets. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, gardening and cooking. Her little friend Neeps is a Cairn Terrier/Westie mix who enjoys hiking and going to work with Emily . When asked what she liked most about being a rehab tech, she said “ I enjoy educating owners and demonstrating useful exercises they can use at home to help their dog improve and be more fit.”
