Paradise Animal Hospital’s Canine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine program has been helping dogs and cats with mobility, pain management, and athletic performance for more than a decade. We offer state-of-the-art facilities including a fully accessible underwater treadmill in a heated pool, medical therapy boarding rooms, and an outdoor therapy courtyard.

As one of the top animal therapy centers in Maryland, we’ve been providing therapy services to dogs and cats in the greater Baltimore County area since 2001. We are a full service and fully certified therapy center offering professional physical recovery care for your pet.

In addition to our medical patients, we enjoy working with canine athletes who are working to maintain fitness and improve conditioning. The Paradise team will evaluate gait, video body mechanics, and design a plan for optimal performance.

Therapy Services

Seeing your pet running around and playing pain-free is a joy for any pet owner and that’s what Paradise Animal Hospital’s Canine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine program is all about. We provide rehabilitation therapy, pain management, and sports therapy tailored to the exact needs of your pet. We are the area’s top dog and cat physical therapy center. Our patient cases include pets that need help with post-operative recovery, neurologic conditions, geriatric conditions, pain relief, arthritis, athletic performance goals, and many more.

During your pet’s initial consultation, you’ll meet with our entire rehabilitation team. We’ll detail the types of therapy we recommend for your pet—both on-site and with at-home exercising—and we’ll develop a therapy program that works around your schedule.

Our facilities are modern, clean, and feature an “open view” arrangement, enabling pet owners to watch their pets during therapy if they wish to do so. Therapy sessions are by appointment and we offer daily drop-off and medical boarding options. Whenever possible, we provide our patients with assistive devices for home care including front-end and back-end harnesses, fitted slings, and physiorolls (big exercise balls).
