Dr. Pearson joined our practice as a Medical Director. She graduated from Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2000 and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004. Since 2004, Dr. Pearson has been a general practitioner with special interests in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In 2016, she completed her training in Canine Rehabilitation Certification from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Pearson feels it is important to have an open line of communication with clients about their pets and to answer any questions they may have.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, Charlie and Joe, and her goofy dog, Ruby. She is an avid Hokie, Orioles, Lions, and Caps fan.
