About Your Appointment with Paradise Animal Hospital in Catonsville
We Examine Your Pet from Head to Wagging Tail
At Paradise Animal Hospital, we understand that bringing your pet in for any type of appointment can bring about a ton of stress. To help put you and your pet at ease, read what to expect during the appointment.
Steps to Take Before Your Pet’s Appointment
What to Expect During Your Pet’s Appointment
In order to provide time for proper appointment preparation, we ask that you aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Upon your arrival, please sign in at the front desk unless you’ve been instructed otherwise.
Because we strongly encourage yearly checks for intestinal parasites on all pets great and small, we ask that you try to obtain a fecal sample to bring. If you arrive with any samples for our laboratory, feel free to let a customer service representative know, and they will take it off your hands.
When we call your pet’s name:
- A technician will get you and your pet set up in an exam room and take a brief history prior to your pet’s exam.
- Your pet’s veterinarian will then join you in the room, address your concerns, and examine your pet.
After your pet’s exam, we ask that you kindly take a seat back in our lobby as any necessary prescriptions are filled at our in-house pharmacy and your pet’s medical notes are properly documented. One of our customer service representatives will inform you when everything is ready.
Please note that payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, credit cards, and CareCredit®.
